Friday Night at Mt Pleasant?

September 10, 2026

Tomorrow will be the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Mt. Washington will mark that anniversary by displaying a twin beams of light up from the summit. Pleasant Mountain Ski Area sent out an announcement that they will run the lifts tomorrow evening for people to come out and view the lights. Below is their announcement. Here is the link they provided “To Get Tickets“: {https://shop.pleasantmountain.com/l/scenic-lift-rides/p/memorial-lift-ride?utm_source=mc_pleasantmountain&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=pm_passes&utm_content=1670521_Honor+Summit+Lift+Ride&sfcid=0035Y00005AbwcGQAR&phone=

They suggest viewing from the top of Haggett’s Ski run. That’s the spot where in the winter everyone stops and poses for a photo of themselves with Mt. Washington in the background.

AN UNOBSTUCED VIEW OF A ONE-OF-A-KIND NIGHT
This Friday, two beams of light will rise from the summit of Mount Washington. The Honor Summit is a tribute marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, honoring the veterans, firefighters and first responders who protect us.

We have a clear line of sight to Mount Washington from the summit at Pleasant Mountain and wanted to offer guests easy access to one of the best local viewing spots around.
